I have created a bootable disk image which contains MS-DOS 7 along with drivers to allow for data transfer using the FlashPath without modifying the existing operating system. You will need a blank 720kb floppy disk; alternatively, a Gotek drive emulator should work as-well too.
- Write the "FLASHPATH.IMA" file using WinImage onto a 720KB floppy disk or up to a 1.44MB high density disk.
- Insert the disk into the machine that you are intending to boot the disk from.
- Power on your computer and boot from the floppy disk drive as set by your BIOS's boot routine.
- After the drivers have been utilized, you will be asked to eject the boot disk and swap it for your FlashPath adapter.
- To test that the adapter works, type "DIR /W" in the command prompt, hit [Enter] and the file tree should be listed.
