Hi guys, yet another boring update from me.
Well, on monday, we have our circuit assessment which is basically a test to see if we are decent enough to be allowed on the road, and well, i wasn't able to pass it, due to me hitting the kerb and becoming a tad nervous because of that. We learn how to execute a parallel parking as well. For now, it's just for the right side, we would be learning how to execute a parallel parking on the left side.
As for theory lessons, we just learn more on highway situations, that's all.
On Tuesday. I had another assessment but i wasnt able to pass due to my car sliding down the slope too much. O well, there's the next few times, and we also have a demo by uncle lim on how to do a left parallel parking. Anyway, since i fail my driving assessment on the circuit, i have to go for another 100 mins of training.
Theory lessons are as usual, just more highway situations and more playing with the car
On Wednesday, yet another assessment and i wasnt able to get it right, this time i run into the kerb again, ARGHHHHHHHH, why do i keep reverting back to a day 1 driver when i am being tested??!!! Today, i finally am able to practice parking, FREAKING FINALLY!! and well, for my first time, it was pretty alright i guess..
Theory lessons are as usual... But at least, we get to do another simulator. This time round, we are presented with a situation if an animal were to cross our path..
On Thursday, we have our driving assessment and FUCKING FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MANAGED TO PASS IT!! but barely, still 18 points and no major is still a pass
At least i didnt get 20 demerit points, that would totally sucked. Today, i practiced my parallel parking and my reverse parking, not bad, even if i overshot the timing.
For theory, we had the usual HSP lesson and we have another simulator, this time simulating what is it like driving the 3 tonner.
Anyway, thanks to me passing my assessment, finally i am able to drive on public road starting tomorrow
On Friday, hurray, my first time on public road, man... the feeling of being on public road is a lot different from being in a safe place. Even the roads feels different. Anyway, i got scolded by my instructor for being too slow in changing gear and in stopping. Either way, i am glad that i get to be on the road, another thing that was great was that, while i was driving, it started to rain, to some people, it might look like it sucks on your 1st day and it rain, but to me, it means that i get to experience driving under wet weather and soon-to-be heavy rain condition, so it was a blessing in disguise.
Anyway, i had no theory lessons as i had a medical appointment with the medical officer at 2pm, so i had to get out from the training camp at kabit bukit and take a cab to sembawang camp. Anyway, the journey back has been pretty entertaining, i get to chat with an interesting lady cab driver. Anyway, to make a long story short, nothing much happened, all is well with me and i am still able to carry on with my course.
Saturday or bookout day to the rest of us, today i went on the public road again, unforunately, my partner did not check the car well nor did i suspect a thing with the car and i merely attribute it to army car being fucked up as usual and well, the steering wheel was damaged.. So, i was driving more screwed up than usual. Anyway, that's that, saturday was a short day.
Also, hurray, i have my first restaurant meal in like a few months i guess and i guess, it's pretty alright. Also, i just bought a strategy guide for Dragon Quest IX
DQ IX DQ IX and i dont care that i am late to the party
