When I learned that my manager gave me today off yesterday, I was overwhelmed with joy! It has been over a calendar week since I've had any time off at all!
...then he calls me today and tells me to get here as fast as possible...sigh...
Anyway, I'm experiencing mild right flank pain. I'm assuming I have a kidney infection, but who knows? Regardless, it could be a stone that hasn't entered my uriter yet, so I'm taking leftover hydrocodone apap with me wherever I go.
In other news, my landlord got our place infested with fruit flies. Wonderful.
I looked in the mirror this morning and they were all over it...just...sitting there. It was creepy, actually, and I'm not afraid of bugs - in fact, I'm not killing them out of compassion - they're just doing what they have to do to survive, right?
Naturally I'm gonna clean up the place to eliminate breeding grounds, but still.
I gave my girlfriend a stuffed goomba for her birthday...it was adorable. I found her something else that she'll ADORE but its not here yet, so
