But also even if you break a rule some moderators are behave like .... for you breaking a rule so even if I or any one ellse breaks a rule the mod does not need to be a ..... for it even he has rules to follow.

Youre basically coming into someones house, and whining and complaining about how the house is run, and how X person doesn't like you and treats you like shit. Its their house. You are a guest. Feel free to leave whenever you want.

For those who are unaware? The OP was being a bit of a knob, but the gamefaqs mods are very power abusive. Tons love deleting posts just because they don't agree with what you might have said on a topic. I recall discussing civilly how a game wasn't very good in certain aspects, and this mod was arguing with me and just ended up deleting all of my posts and warning me because he was losing the debate. The amount of warns I received could have easily either limited my account to severe uselessness, or got it banned (but I was posting from gamespot, so my account was unharmed).

Some delete posts that have censored words. (as in, the censor did its job like... "that's ******* stupid" followed by a constructive post, that would be deleted, despite the censor doing its job and you posting a constructive post. Constructive posts with censored words are 100% legal.

Others seem to just delete posts...because they can. I've posted 100% legal posts and had them deleted, and never been able to find a good reason why it was deleted. Also getting a mod mad is a terrible idea. They will literally hound you. Even trying to get help is difficult because they just delete your posts/lock any thread you make asking why you're being targeted by a mod. It's...hilariously sad.

To the OP most forums really do not like personal attacks on the staff. You saying the word "retarded" was not as bad as you calling the moderator staff "Nazis". But 1 good thing did come from it you have learned that you will not always get your way.

I like to check out gamefaqs every once and awhile, see what games are coming out in the future or maybe if I am stuck and need a guide. But I stay away from the message boards. Every time I check them out I come away from it feeling dumber.

Never knew that GameFAQs forum's sucks that much I only go there when I'm looking for some specific information about a game.

I still check out GameFAQs for stuff, the walkthroughs can be useful, for example. I've never been moderated there, but then again, I don't try to push things to the edge of decency all the time either.

It's funny how some people think that just because they are online and are more or less anonymous, they can act any way they want but then get ticked-off when it bites them in the ass and they get banned or otherwise moderated when they blatantly break the rules.

Most people DO know that there are certain words that are not acceptable on most forums. Don't know why some people think they are somehow exempt from those restrictions. Entitlement issues or lack of etiquette I guess.....
