Our first Greenhouse. Computer controlled!!

Back in the beginning of May I purchased a 10' by 12' greenhouse kit from Harbor Freight. My wife and I spend 4 days building the greenhouse including digging the holes for the posts that act as a solid foundation, pouring the concrete, and assembling the structure.

A few weeks later we spend 2 days making the floor and then moving our aquaponics system into the greenhouse.

It was a hell of a lot of work, but it is well worth all the effort.

Here's some pictures.

As you can see, we already have some plants growing on in it, and they are doing EXTREMELY well.
Some of the plants include Cucumbers, Summer Squash, Butternut Squash, Pumpkins, Watermelon, Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Garden Beans, and Peas.

Thank you all for looking.

EDIT: How can I forget the most important part. THIS IS ALL COMPUTER CONTROLLED!!!

I have a computer that runs the whole system. The computer controls all the pumps, exhaust fan, plays different music depending upon the time of the day, detects if it is raining, graphs out the temperature of the greenhouse, the nutrients temperature, and the humidity.

I still have to hook up a few other sensors like some float sensors and a door sensor to detect if the door is open. I will also be adding an anemometer (wind speed sensor). Other things to come will be an electrical sub panel, lights (likely LED's), more fans, peristaltic pumps for nutrient dosing, and soooo much more.

In the end, I want this to be a completely automated greenhouse that all I will have to do is drop in some seeds and harvest my fruit.

I will add some pictures of the computer system in a little bit.

you bleack in to goverment computer systems to get cyborg schematics so you can get a robot body constructed

btw @BigOnYa the health bar doesnt decrease when i take damage (and yes i put the "at the beggining of the scene change value of greenflatbar: set to Protagonistcopmode.Health::Health())

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
ok im gonna make my own asset
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
nvm i think i fixed it
