My friends are depressed

I'm chatting with a couple of friends on the internet who are saying they aren't doing so good. I'm no expert at this kinda thing, but I thought helping them cope with everything and telling me their problems so I can help ease their situations will help. Please if you feel depressed don't hesitate to talk to anyone here. This community isn't great at just video games but werew a team and we're all friends here, we can help you with a problem you have. Thanks for reading.

Unfortunately it can sometimes lead to some people just thinking your some edge lord with what you say or getting at you for trying to talk about it on a gaming centric site. Sadly doesn't always work out.

sadly not all forms of depression can simply be worked out, especially not socially

for example, i have a form of depression that sources from an endless constant barrage of bad social experiences

You can't "cure" depression, but having someone to talk to is definitely a very powerful thing. Though depression is quite the minority. Most people are just depressed. Which again, is greatly helped by having someone to talk to.

Keep it up OP. That's a nice thing to do. I miss the days where I could help more people. More people need to learn how to listen.
