So there's a Magic 2012 pre-release happening this weekend and I'm actually going. I haven't ever gone to a pre-release or draft (I can't find many local stores that do them) but my friend said that he wants to go and conveniently his grandpa lives right next to a shop that hosts them. So I'm gonna go there, Magic it up, probably blow a bunch of cash, and sleep over my friend's grandpa's house with him, then Magic it up the next day.
I do know how to draft and stuff and what cards to find and stuff like that, I just need to check the store's policies on it. I may also be able to pick up my Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 promo card (which is a Grave Titan for the Xbox 360 version).
I'm mainly looking forward to just going to the store and buying some cards and hanging with my friend more so than the draft and stuff, but it should be fun.

On another note, I started playing Alice: Madness Returns and it's quite good. It's a pretty basic action platforming game but it's beautiful to play and very atmospheric. I'm glad I bought it.
Dragon Age 2 I've been playing a bit and I think it's pretty good. There are some retarded plot twists though (check the spoiler below) and some times the AI are retarded (I give them good tactics and everything but at times they blatantly ignore them) and the game is also prone to some annoying load times and graphical glitches (during cutscenes) on the Xbox 360 but it's still a great BioWare game.
Still gets my hyped for Mass Effect 3. Game of the FOREVER.

Stupid plot twists:
- How your mom gets killed. If she died at the hands of the Qunari or something like that it'd be cool. But to basically have her made into a zombie bride by a serial killer is possibly the stupidest death I've ever seen.
- Bethany joins the Circle. I'm assuming if she was on your team for the Deep Roads that she wouldn't join the circle (maybe?) but you basically have to do a majority of the game without her. Which sucks because I gave her some decent skills and stuff.
- Carver dying. I'm playing as a Rogue so I instantly knew he'd die when I met up with Aveline. If you have two Warriors on your team you know the one you didn't just meet is gonna die. If you play as a Mage apparently Bethany dies.
- The hottest character in the game is your sister. Seriously.
- WHERE THE FUCK IS ISABELLA. I asked my friend basically if there were any attractive female characters I could pursue a romance with in the game and he's like "There's a Rogue named Isabella you meet later". I did almost EVERY quest in the second act (I think the exception being Night Terrors) and never found her. Apparently she was plot important but now I'm in the third act so who gives a shit. Varric is a hella rogue anyway and my character is a rogue too.
