If everyone has flaws, then it seems pointless to try to improve them - as it clearly doesn't work

@x65943 Come on. there's that one time you didn't pick up a plastic bottle on the streets, didn't donate to the homeless person in need when they begged of you.
Even if you didn't. At one point you didn't help someone for your own benifet
Just change what makes you a bad person

Honestly? Fuck the world. Yeah, you could say I'm "being edgy"... But the fact is that me changing something about myself won't make everyone else stop being fucking stupid.

@Memoir But It can help someone else, the world can be beautiful if we try, I agree the world can be bad but we can make it better, just making a slight change can make a huge difference

@Memoir My friend. Set aside your teenage like state and embrace adulthood. For you need to look beyond internet articles describing how the world is, and embrace the world with your own eyes. For you will find the real true truth.

I'd say the opposite is more effective. Certainly, work on yourself, but the best thing you can do from there is work to change society to make the world a better place. Make a better society and you make better people, you can't expect everyone to take it upon themselves to change themselves (and in many ways they can't change themselves without obstructions due to societal issues like poverty, racism, etc) so if you make a more just society that supports all of its people then you can truly improve the world by giving everyone a chance at a healthy life.

You can change society, anyone can change society but you can't always change the individual, especially without societal change.
