School Stuffs

So today at school I had an extra French class.
I had to do do an exercise where I had to translate some sentences into French. Fair enough right?
I had to do it from Italian to French. Again, fair enough right?
Problem is I'm a beginner at Italian and I had to translate sentences in the conditional, and Italian version of the Passé Simple (Preterito in Spanish) to the same, or equivalents in French <_>
I've found something else that Spanish is easier for :O
The past conditional.
In Spanish to say I would have been you say estuviera whereas in Italian and French you say sarei stato/a and aurais été respectively.
See, so much easier :O
Even if the the construction for the Italian and French makes more sense
But yeah, I just put that last bit in to make this more than a 5-6line blog :ha:

My mother tongue's English, I've studied French for the longest but my best is Spanish. I've started Italian this year, and I've done Latin since year 4 (in the UK system) :tpi:
