So I went grocery shopping...

So yeah I went grocery shopping, nothing unusual about that, i do so every couple of weeks.

However I have now decided this is the best alcoholic drink I have ever had:

And I saw this:

toast-me.jpg

Why!? Who on earth would think this a good idea!?
Now I was tempted to buy it for the hell of it, however:
A: I have no toaster.
B: Dying of food poisoning is lower on my list of ways to die than say, dying of alcholism from previously mentioned drink :P

And finally, why do kids think that i'm going to go in and buy them alcohol... especially when they're very clearly asking every person who is about to walk through the door, and right in front of a security guard :glare:, plus it was nearly midnight, shouldn't they be tucked up in bed, damn 15 year olds...

Oh yeah, and first blog post... thanks to the power of alcohol! ^_^

Toaster burgers, meh. They probably doesnt taste very good, or have no taste at all.
I've tried toaster chicken fillet. Didn't like it. :/

I LIEK TOASTER CHICKEN.
(well at least the kind that tastes like the chicken nuggets I had as a kid)

That toaster burger looks disgusting. Then again, I wouldn't take a single bite from any toaster or microwave food. Better to eat the real thing than die of food poisoning.

I'm no expert when it comes to cooking (in fact I generally rely on my microwave and my slow cooker...) but i happen to know when cooking a burger that alot of fat escapes, surely that's going to feck up a toaster? And if not I would hate to think what they've done to the 'beef' in order to prevent the fat getting everywhere.

They did have a couple of other "Toast Me" things, but it was the burger one that really seemed wrong to me :glare:

One thing to know when you buy freezer goods that get microwaved or toasted is that they are already cooked. You're basically going through the effort of heating it up. Thus, those little burgers wouldn't be raw inside. If they were raw, they would be raw on the outside too, which they clearly aren't. Anybody thinking that you'll easily get food poisoning from microwave or toaster foods has apparently never actually looked at those products.

Seriously, most everything you buy pre-packaged these days that isn't obviously raw is precooked and just needs to be reheated.

This, it's not like microwaved food is somehow bypassing FDA safety regulations, you know. It's all fully cooked.

That's isn't necessarily a good thing.....

I hardly ever buy/eat frozen foods that just needs heating up...

OT: That alcohol looks good....too bad i'm 92% sure that, that alcohol isn't available in my country.

Those toaster burger probably taste awful. I can't imagine them having much fat in them due to that making grease when and having no where to go in a toaster leading to a grease fire. Since there would be little to no fat the probably taste bleh.
