Did you already know about Arceus the legendary Pokemon before they put it on Pokemon.com or Pokemon.co.jp?
I sure did.
The first part all happened with Action Replay.
So one day I went to my cousin's house. I showed him that I got a new card for cheating called Action Replay. (This was REALLY long time ago btw.)
He got so excited. He has the German version of Pokemon Diamond. (Pokemon Diamant Versian)
We checked out the german codes and WOW they are so friggin amazing.
We were looking through the Event modifiers and found the "Arceus Event".
Then the both of us: "Huh, who's Arceus?!"
That was me discovering there was something called Arceus.
In 2008 I got Pokemon Pearl and I was such a hacker I used to have AR codes on all the time.
I always had that Wild Pokemon Modifier code on, the one which gave you x493 master balls.
Even if I didn't use it, I had it on.
One day I wasn't intending on using it so I left the 493 balls.
I was walking to Spear Pillar and then... (Sad music... Dramatic Moment...)
A Wild ARCEUS appeared!

Then I remembered I had the code on. (I didn't hold L to trigger Arceus but this code is kinda messed up it sometimes encounters the Pokemon without the need of holding L.)
The fact that the code was used to get Arceus pissed me off. I didn't wanna add Arceus to my Pokedex cause that's cheating so I had to switch the game off. Lots of data lost. Then I got bored of hacking and restarted the game and it is now hack-free!
Back to Arceus, I then researched Arceus and totally knew who Arceus was.
Then like, a couple of months ago I laughed so darn hard when Pokemon recently announced that there is a new PKMN called Arceus.
It was all planned. Funny.
