Well i bought my xbox 360 on march the 9th 2010, and between then and know i have purchased 24 games, im starting to think i have way too many, what do you guys think?
If you've got so much $$ to go around, then why would you ever sell games from your collection? Especially if you plan on even the possibility of purchasing them again?
Did you not listen to a word of that?
I can promise you I've played through more pirated games than I have the ones I own legally.
Some games bore me too much to play and a pirated game is much easier to get rid of.
then:
How in the world did that make sense? If you had read my posts, I actually have access to more LEGAL games that I bought.
Both sentences are kind of contradictory, unless I'm missing something.

I said I've played through more pirated games than the ones I have.
I play my pirated ones more cause my legal games aren't going anywhere.
I have more legal games than I have pirated games.
As I said, I have 80 pirated games out of 367 games in general, the rest are legal.

Why would I sell out of my collection when that's what it is, a collection.
Yeah, right here:
You're sort of right.
A pirated game, I could delete and retrieve all over again.
A legal game, once it's sold, I'd have to spend more money to retrieve it once again.
So re-edit your post next time, it states in the rules not to double post.
You can't over-quote, it will come up as an error when you try and two quotes is not over-quoting.
Right, but you don't need to quote an entire post upon every single response, unless you want to put everybody in scrolling hell. So why all the hostility that seems to be erupting from you? We have differing opinions; it's really not a big deal. You're actually going after my posting etiquette? What exactly did I say that put you on the offensive?
Everyone who says its not to much either has way to much money or is an asshole letting his/her parents pay everything -.-V
well at least for the time ... 24 games in 4 month ... thats 6 games in a month x 60$ so 360$ each month ... thats even more than half of what i earn each month and i work 9 hours a day 5 days a week !

I now have 156 ps3 games I don't play most of them though
Good lord! Good job, fella. I envy you; I'm only at 14 and counting on PS3 (which I got for Christmas), but I've beaten (or am at least very close to finishing) 9 of them.

Ouch. That rounds out to $4 per hour. Either you're not referring to American dollars, or you must at least mean after taxes. But in any case, you're right. It's a lot of money to be spending on games indeed.

Do you realize you merely made me state my point and not yours?
The bold text was me describing the difference between the two in response to one of your previous posts, not me doing it.

Isn't that what you JUST did?
A disagreement, isn't hostility until one gets defensive over the disagreement.
I stated earlier that everyone has a different opinion on how many is too many.
I always state when someone double posts because they act as if they haven't read the rules correctly, me stating you double posted has nothing to do with offense or hostility.
I have over 1000 legal games for various consoles, but I am a video game collector.
'Tis what I do.
Well, I DO have over 100 original NES games and about 85 Atari 2600 games. So if I go retro, my collection is larger than what is seen in my living room at least. Between NES, Atari, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, GameCube, Wii, PS3 and portables I'm probably at about 450. A good deal more than I would have guessed before writing this, actually. 1,000 though, that's nice. Keep it up!

Nope. In my case, I quoted enough so that what I'm responding to makes sense. That's far different than quoting EVERYthing just cuz. And besides that, I was just retaliating from your needless 'double post' prod.
As for the rest, bah. I'm not trying to make enemies here. I just gave my opinion on the topic at hand (which I will continue to stand by as it makes perfect sense.... although perhaps it wasn't really the 'topic at hand' since I admit I went off on a tangent about quality time with pirated vs legit games, which is a separate point) which believe it or not had nothing to do with you personally. This is turning into a lame argument, which I have no time for. Have fun living in Snarkyville; I'm just going to go back to enjoying some conversation with folks who don't want to bite me for disagreeing with them now. No hard feelings. I'm sure we'll meet again and have forgotten eachother's names... that's the interweb for ya. It's been fun!

Purchased in 4 months? Come on now; it most definitely is. At full price, we're talking just about $400 a month in games. Once again, pirated junk does NOT count in the context of this thread.
hurrhurrpiracyyy
maybe if OP kept that amount up every 4 months, but at most its because op had just got the 360 and bought a bunch of games he'd been meaning to play for awhile but never had the chance until now.
also;
price =|= amount.
i can easily buy a ps2 with 20-30 games these days for around $100, thats 20-30 in a single day, is that a lot in a collection? god no, considering the amount of games out there.

True that. I did indeed go on a bit of a spending spree the week after getting the PS3. It dies down before long, when you realize there are only a couple top-shelf games getting released each month or two for any given current system (although it seems a little slower for the poor ol' Wii). Your other point is also right on the money (price =|= amount). I hadn't really considered that you can pick up 100 Atari games for the price of a single PS3 title. Good point sir.
I only have 2 Wii games, WiiSports and WiiPlay, the rest of my games I've sold them, I have bought 0 DS games, so YES you have way to many games, how many do you play at the same time....??
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
