Got a small related anecdote.

I used discs for quite a while for my Wii pirating habits, only thing is that they're bulkier, and don't have great compatibility compared to a USB loader. So for Christmas I asked for an external hard drive. I got one, a WD MyPassport 250GB hard drive. I was happy. I plugged it into my computer and it said I had to install the stupid mandatory hard drive management software. I install it, it says to restart my computer. I do, and blam, BSoD (blue screen of death). I restart it again. Same BSoD. I set it to do Last Working Configuration, I check to make sure the boot order is correct, it just really fucked up. So I have to system restore. Fuck. Luckily my computer has an automatic back-up function so all my data was backed up to another drive on the computer. But I still lost my old anti-virus program, MS Office, etc. I just pirated a new copy of MS Office (and my old copy, which was legit, only had Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, the pirated version is the whole nine yards), installed a new anti-virus, and re-installed JDownloader (which is my lifeline).

A little note here. I clearly said that VistaGlazz was for patching Windows to allow custom themes. Custom icons does not need a patch at all.

I know..... so i patched it. and it wouldn't boot at all. haha.

But whatever. my pc is fine.

You could of just done a system restore.

I could of. yes. but i wanted to start fresh. like no more hewlet packard software. and it runs a bit faster now
