Ill... again.

I'm feeling like a 12 years old blogger who posts everytime something "new" happens in his life :D Anyway, I think I caught flu... again. Since last year, it's my fifth or sixth case of flu (the last one was the swine flu after a trip in the USA...). It's just like this virus is in love with me :D. I went to eat outside with some friends and one of them was a little bit ill, so I think he's the one who made me sick. But seriously, this is starting to be really annoying... Getting sick every 2 months is tiring. Hopefully for me, I've got a very good insurance... No one knows a good old grandma remedy ?

Off Topic : Since I'm in my bed for a long time, does someone knows a good tv serie to watch ? I've started Chuck yesterday. Awesome show by the way.

If you're old enough to drink try a Hot Toddy.

Take 3/4 a mug of hot tea or water, mix in a teaspoon or two of honey, a splash of lemon juice and a shot of whiskey or other hard liquor. The honey, lemon and hot tea will do wonders for your throat, sinuses and any cough or congestion or mucus in your lungs/throat and the alcohol in the hot tea will not only help you sleep but you'll sweat out some of your fever. Have it before bed or if you're gonna take a nap. It sounds silly but I use it every time I have the flu (which is often I have a lame immune system) and I always get a better night sleep for having one and I feel better in the morning than I would have if I hadn't. It tastes like crap but I can't deny it helps. Old Irish folk remedy :D

Just tried, and waw. That was awesome. I used some brown rum. It didn't make me sleepy but I felt some kind of "interior peace" (no, I wasn't drunk) :D Thanks a lot !
