So, in light of me having 999 posts, I was kind of attempting to find somewhere useful to post it (which is why I went poking in the EoF for a little while).
My indecision brought me to a couple of different posts, some of them where I really wanted to bash the poster to the floor because they were dumb posts...Anyways, instead I decided that I'm just going to wonder on what I am going to post as a new thread instead of posting on someone else's thread, although I have found out that I don't exactly have anything of use without being able to use my DS o.0...So, because of all of these failings, I am posting a blog post instead, talking about things I find amusing and extremely stupid at the same time (one thing in general at the moment) as well as whatever else pops into my head.
First off is attacking Halo-101 for various reasons (one being that he is a stupid 13 year old, not the fact that he is a 13 year old, the fact that other 13 year olds are so much more smarter than him). Somehow I hate him with a passion. At first it was because he was putting up a pre-compiled ysmenu with Spinal_cord's dscovered. Obviously not as many people care about Yasu not liking certain things or not, and I do understand that (in which case I just deem them asses and move on), but it really got to me when he was claiming that ysmenu was infact NOT ysmenu, but a firmware based off of ysmenu. Of course, afterwards he made his wonderful website that wasn't well thought out, and totally went against the terms of service for his website host, advertising it on GBATemp as well as his videos...
As it turns out, he still didn't learn his lesson and advertised his second website on GBATemp when his first one got frozen due to an abuse of the terms. Then his second one got frozen as well, and by now you would have expected him to get the picture that it just doesn't work, but no. Now his "website" is just a thread on a romsite's forums because romsites obviously don't mind pirates that much. During all of this, he sent me a PM each time his site bit the ice, telling me that my ysmenu generator works and where his new site was going to be. Apparently, he doesn't understand sarcasm or the fact that I could care less where his next "website" is going to be. Of course, trying to be the helpful person that I am, I didn't completely just kick him out and I gave a little bit of advice (that he should give up after ruining his rep as it is).
He also seems to think rather highly of himself. Not only did he mention to the people at GBATemp that he was not the administrator of the first website, but in the credits section of said website, there was a certain accreditation to "Halo-101 aka Nic" and apparently he believes that the connection can't be made that he is said administrator of his website when Nic is the administrator, and the fact that only someone persistent for e-fame would go so far as to call a thread in a forum a "site" using the same username as his GBATemp one, and giving out his name the email he provided for contacting (I am tempted to flood his email for the hell of it, but I will restrain myself for now xD).
To continue to bash on his character, he uses other people's stuff without asking (at least he has a credit section -_-"), and totally has no idea of what he is doing when he tries to tell people what to do (his "pre-compiled" dscovered was a complete mess, inilink and iniclear everywhere, random folders, random files, it was pure insanity). Apparently, my ysmenu generator "works" but looking on his instructions are steps that shouldn't have been in there, which definitely means that it DOESN'T work the way I was expecting it to (not that I care too much about it, since I get almost zero feedback on it anyways).
All in all, I hate his guts.
On a completely different note, there were a couple posts that I wanted to post in (because I either had an answer or I wanted to point out the idiocy in the post), but I restricted myself because I felt it would be kind of cool to have my 1000th post somewhere important. I nearly posted a couple times before catching myself xD (I was about to press submit on one or two chances).
Also, I found out that it is fairly easy to get XP points at ndsthemes...you just have to visit a lot of the skins (they give 1 point each, but there are a couple thousand...) and so I have like 2800+ points right now for doing nothing...although I suppose this does add towards getting carpal tunnel syndrome...
More for the fact that I haven't done my homework and I really should, I'm kind of rushing this post instead of making it extremely lengthy (not that it isn't after me happily flaming Halo-101). Also I have an idea for a thread now (I'll title it "Homebrew Review" and put it in the NDS Homebrew Section) so my problem of my 1000th post lies in me grabbing some info on at least one piece homebrew. If my wondrous idea comes to fruition, it will be GBATemp's one stop for the homebrew out there with videos as well, otherwise I'll just leave it as a dead post (hopefully it won't be, but who knows what will happen).
