So, I have Monday off. Some bullshit about "family day", but the perk is, it's attached to Chinese New Year/Valentine's Day. I'm waiting for my parents to pick me up from the dorms - I don't drive, yet - I have the learner's permit, but I rather not pick it up for personal reasons.
So, what is Lunar New Year like for me? It's just eating to death (I might as well strap a feedbag to my face), and shopping for traditional stuff and LUCKY money. My family's tradition is to give lucky money to people who aren't married yet - and I'm engaged (but my parents doesn't know yet), so I still get some cash.
I've been playing through Platinum, and let me tell you, I HATE distortion world. I played through on the ROM before, and it didn't make me physically sick the first time - however, this time - it did. I had a headache for ages after playing it - I guess it was the sound effect of the things disappearing that did it (I played through with no volume on my DS).
I'm going to finish Populous DS and a couple of other things anyhow. Also taking my flask (I'm refilling it now), and a few textbooks.
Have fun on valentines and Lunar New Year!
Edit: Fuck. I thought I got at least an 80% on my anatomy midterm. I guess this calls for an appointment with the professor - I got an 65% - but still better than the class average --> 57%.
