I woke up at about 10:30, since we had a day off, only to have my brother telling me that our PS3 stopped reading discs. I went down and checked it out myself.
Put Blazblue in, and it was actually being read. Good. It started playing, also good. Then, I played a couple matches online with no problem, so I thought to myself that he was kidding. All of a sudden, it froze. It doesn't happen often, so I reset the system. It couldn't find the disc inside, so I took it out and put in a bunch of other games. Then, they were detected, but for a strange reason, the PS3 kept saying it had an error whenever I tried to open it. I shut it off.
About 2 hours later, I turned it on again, and again, it booted up my games fine. But then, it kept hanging at the loading screen. It never got passed it. It was like that for all the games I tried out.
I sent SCEA an email, but the most likely thing to happen is send it in for repairs and pay up nearly 200 bucks, or just get a new PS3. I think I'll have to do the latter, since I might as well just get a brand new one.
