The builders are finally finished with the extension which is allowing me to move onto the next steps of operation declutter.
My previous Billy bookscase was somewhat fucked up when the builders were doing some work in my room so I've replaced it with a 2x4 Ikea Kallax. did buy some inserts, acrylic covers and rechargeable light pucks for it which hilariously exceeds the cost of the Kallax!
This has meant there's less space compared to before so I've had to make some difficult decisions about which books to sell. The issue is these books are mostly exhibition guides from museums and art galleries are fucking heavy. There's been three separate journeys to the post office to get rid of them. There's a few games to sell off as well.
I also went through my documentation shelf and got rid of a lot of old stuff from there. It was clear, it hadn't been organised for a long time so managed to sort that out.
I'm in the process of sorting out a bag of stuff to donate (shoes I've not used, books and board games). So far I'm quite happy with how things are looking though there is more to do.
The house in general is a fucking mess and we're still sorting out stuff. This hasn't been good for my bank balance as I spent quite a bit of money on new things for the house recently.
