What do you mean by No-Go?

EDIT: Oh. So you mean by No-Go, it doesn't work xD

Lol, they are not bad, but the pictures are really getting fucked up when you are going to watch them in slideshow on a 24" screen, lol <_<"

Edit: So, you've got a DSi now? You got one before the release date from a Game-Stop sampling event? Hmm?

arnt you supposed to use a special DSi capable flashcart for it to work?

No, I don't have the DSi, It was a Sampling Event for Nintendo Platinum Members to try out before launch...Which is on April 5th.//

I knew that the EDGE card wouldn't work...I wanted to see if it would give me an Black Error Screen. Funny thing was the Nintendo Rep. had an Acekard 2i cart with him to play GTA: Chinatown Wars!//

The Nintendo Rep. was a friend of mine from long ago. We go way back like heystacks...He works for Nintendo as the Local PR guy.//
Did he use the cart on the DSi?
Yes he did, and it works...for now. He was saying that the DSi might have a new firmware update on the US launch. But he's not entirely sure...But who knows right?//

But the question is: Do you think that the flashcarts have to update the cart itself or the software in it? Is there a way that the EDGE team can just update the firmware of their flashcarts to not boot up so that the DSi can read and load it itself? I don't know how all this works...//

I doubt it or we wouldnt have these carts like Ak2i, R4i, ect... specially made to boot on the DSi
its most likely a hardware thing, unless its just a big scam to sell more flashcarts

GBAtemp should be legally obligated to ban them, as its against the law to collect information from users under 13 because of COPPA. :tpi:

VR had the chance to integrate with existing games and tech but VR companies said "NO, I WANT MY SHIT TO BE STANDALONE AND MY GAMES EXCLUSIVE TO FACEBOOK"

  • Veho @ Veho:
Back when Oculus Rift was still starting out and being demoed around, they modded existing games to use it as a 360° immersive screen thing and that was AMAZING.

The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc

The tech to have quality VR goggles at an affordable price is here, but every set has to have 4 additional controllers and be standalone.

These are the same type of gamers that spend $2,000 on a GPU when a $600 GPU gives nearly the same outcome which is what the market looks at for them to do spend more on unneeded bs
