I have recently been exposed to covid. This is no EoF joke I have been exposed and I'm in quarantine. I feel healthy and I'm currently not test or vaccinated but I always wear my mask .I do not ask for sympathy but for your prayers
Other viruses are still going around. I had a 24-hour bug a few weeks back.
I had covid last year before any treatments were known and I had a pretty bad time (possibly even a second time 7 months later, but I didn't get tested quickly enough). I'm not worried about it at all anymore. Take vitamin D every day is the best advice I can give to anyone still worried. Studies have shown that it makes a huge difference both in duration and lung recovery.
Especially important in Northern states and high elevations turns out. I recently got a full checkup (in my mid-30s) and I'm fine other than one of my liver numbers being a bit high and having a low level of vitamin D. They gave me high-dose pills to take once a week for four weeks, then I'm just gonna take 5000-8000 U pills each day.
Vitamin D also has the benefit of improving mood, among other things. It's just unfortunate that it doesn't come naturally in any foods, you can only get it from the sun. And in some parts of the country it's very hard to absorb enough sun, especially year-round. Also a bit of a balancing act if you don't want burns/cancer.
