Hey, remember when I had to upgrade my TV because the backlight has decided to commit sudoku? Well, I just happened to be gifted another dead TV, with the intention of having it repaired, but since the damage was beyond any kind of economic repairs, it was just left on my desk to rot while my benefactor chose to buy a new one instead. This gave me an idea... What if I take the completely incompatible backlight out, slash it into tiny pieces...

...solder it all together and firmly affix it to the frame of my old TV at the more-or-less correct spots...
