Disclaimer: this story is based off the game sonic.exe spirits of hell. The reason for this is because we need a good Sonic.exe story and we got a good sonic.exe game in SOH so yeah anyway without further adieu (point out any misspellings) onto the actual story but first if you think it’s bad you’re entitled to your own opinion but if you think it’s good then thanks but bare in mind this is my first story so yeah.

Like a lot of people i’m a fan of sonic however I actually enjoy games like sonic forces, but before I get off topic i’d like to tell you something that was a little horrifying to some. It was a summer day and I was bored so I decided to look for a fan game since I’d gotten a little bored of some of the other games I completed. Eventually I did find a link which was a download for a game called Sonic the Spirits. “Interesting title” I thought so I decided to play it and it didn’t take that long so I opened the game and I was brought to a title screen with an entirely black background with the words Sonic.exe The Spirits of Hell in gold on top. “Ok looks like this is horror themed” I thought as I selected the easy mode or as the game put it “poor child”. I started in what looked like green hill zone but there were no enemies so I assumed it was too early in the morning for Dr. Eggbrain to attack or maybe he just didn’t have a plan yet, regardless at the end of the level or at least where a normal ghz act 1 would end a cutscene started. Sonic stared at his wrist as a buzzing was heard so I assumed it was his communicator and tails was calling, the conversation went like the way it did below
Tails: hey sonic, are you there?
Sonic: Yeah. It uh.....seems empty....
Tails: Empty? This is just getting odd. According to this, There should be...
It then cut to Tails’ workshop
Sonic: Wait a second. I see something.
Tails: Be careful Sonic it could be....
Sonic: you worry too much, i’m sure it’s just.....
Tails: Hello? Sonic? Are you there?
(Tails’s sprite went wide eyed)
Tails: I have to make sure sonic’s ok
With that tails flew off in the tornado to green hill....or at least I assumed he did because it then cut to green hill but sonic was facing the background and a textbox appeared but where his portrait should’ve been it was just a question mark and this is what he said
Sonic?: this’ll have to do for now but soon I’ll be able to use this body’s full potential...I just need a few more souls
As a bird flicky flew by sonic caused it to disintegrate by punching it where it then cut to tails flying over ghz while reminiscing and it was at that point where I resumed control (after tails landed of course) after a few minutes of walking I saw dead flickies which only slightly disturbed me but tails’ reaction was understandably different
Tails: D-dead animals?! Who could’ve done such a thing
I then walked back to the tornado and I picked up a black ring with a muted gold aura which was pretty cool but then walking back I picked up a green ring “are these the collectibles?” I thought. Then the tiles turned white while the music slowed giving this response from tails
Tails: It’s getting worse! I better go back and tell the others....No! You gotta be brave and I think I see someone in the distance.
Finally after more mutilated flickies I found sonic and this exchange occurred
Tails: Sonic! Thank god I found you!
Sonic: Tails!? I told you to stay put!
Tails: sorry I thought you needed help
Sonic: well sorry to worry you, anyway we should tell the others
It was at this moment that I noticed what appeared to be blood on sonic’s gloves and tails noticed it too
Tails: I-Is that blood?! What happened!?
Sonic: I’m fine it’s nothing now let’s go!
It was at this moment where I was given a choice: go with sonic or fly away. I chose the option everyone would’ve chosen and flew away and while he was doing that it looked like sonic was flying as well. He then tried to grab tails and his eyes were pitch black with blood dripping from them and after he caught tails I was taken to the “hide and seek” level
