Here is a idea tecmo...

I really wish I knew what they are thinking sometimes. They managed to make DLC for a 5 year old game. I dunno if i should be impressed or upset. But you know, I kinda wish they did make a Ninja Gaiden Collection. It would feature all 3 Ninja gaiden games on modern consoles. Of course most of you would consider this a port, but you know what, It's okay. I'm usually not one to just want port of games but a collection is different. PS4 and Xbox One, and PC. 3 games!

Ninja Gaiden HD Collection! Includes the whole Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, relive the epic 3D adventures of the Dragon Ninja Ryu as he slays demons and other fearsome creatures to protect the lineage of the Dragon Clan. Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden 2, Ninja Gaiden 3, now with crispy visuals up to 4K, 60FPS, Changeable versions include the original and enhanced versions (Ninja Gaiden Black & Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge) optional tweaks to gameplay adjusted for anyone from a walk in the park to a hardcore nightmare. Also included as bonus, the classic 2D retro games! 8-Bit (Nes) Ninja Gaiden Trilogy with optional 16-Bit version (SNES), the original arcade game and the way more obscure ones like the master system, game gear, and gameboy, (or even the unreleased megadrive/genesis game) Includes the Japanese exclusive Ninja Gaiden OVA (With subtitles of course)

It may just seem like I'm complaining about something that is never gonna happen, all I can say is maybe you are right. (YOU the reader) Still I like to share my thoughts. Maybe they have no interest in such a thing, but I wouldn't mind having a collection of those games, I never beaten any of the retro games (Yes, not even the nes ones, is hard, difficult. I'm a scrub, noob, oh well) But Ninja Gaiden is a game people remember and gets brought up a lot. I beaten the modern ones, they were fun and satisfying. Having them in playable 4K, maybe tweaked a bit and even including more rare games would be nice to have. That is all I'm saying. A High quality compilation of everything Ninja Gaiden. 2018 will be the 30 Year anniversary of the series, so maybe I'm just hopeful that something is planned... Unlike Mega man's 30 Anniversary... and Street fighter 30 Anniversary... anything else I felt was ruined for 30 year anniversary games. :ninja:

Not sure about that collection, but sure whenever they get VC running on the Switch I will go for the 3 NES Ninja Gaidens.
You know, it seems I am quite masochistic, for once I loved to heart Battle Toads, and also still today I have these beautiful nightmares of me jumping from one platform to the next and a stupid ninja jumping out of nowhere colliding with me and making me fall in the pit between platforms, that was kind of cool really.

i played all 3 on ps3 (the 3rd on wiiu too) i think they are already in 60fps

p.s. what dlc are u talking about??

Why would you be upset at DLC for a 5 year old game? I thought we wanted devs to support things in the long term. Or are we supposed to think "OMG what a money grab"?

"Ninja Gaiden 3"
Why would you want to inflict that horror on people?

As for 4k I am not sure what that would gain me here. 4k does well for strategy games, fps games where I am at long range and games where a lot of information is nice to have on the screen at once.

However having had friends with collections of hundreds of ROMs since the late 90s I am all for collections of many games. Can still leave out 3 though, maybe they could throw in Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z as I never actually played that.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Modded ofc
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
