As you may have noticed, my old 3DS was in pretty bad shape. So, I got a N3DSXL today!
Obviously hacking it is 100% required.
I think I confused that poor GameStop employee when I asked him to see the serial number of all their N3DSes. Even better, when he asked if I wanted a warranty, I confidently said, "Nah, I'll just void it within 30 seconds anyway."
I walked away with a brand new 9.9 N3DSXL.
So, on to hacking it. I've hacked 7 O3DSes (two were mine) in the past. I was perfect. Never fucked up once.
Then, one of my friends paid me $20 to hack his N3DS. Okay, I said to myself, how hard could it be?
Spoiler alert: everything went fine. I got my 20 bucks, and now I had experience hacking N3DSes.
So, today, I started the process of installing A9LH on my N3DS.
Everything's going smooth, just like it did for my friend's.
Then I start downgrading to 9.2. This is always a little scary, but I'm more or less confident by now.
OK. About halfway done.
...
It turns out to just be a partial downgrade.
I delete the extdata and all that, reinstall Menuhax, and downgrade again. It works.
That all happened like 3 minutes ago. I'm continuing the guide smoothly now. So, that's good.
Just felt I might as well make a blag about this.

So that shit happens. Like I said, nothing had ever gone wrong before. I panic.Nintendo said:
