So, it's summer vacation and I am doing NOTHING. I mean, I'm doing nothing. I would take lessons in something (perhaps swimming or creative writing) but I feel that it won't really take up that much of my time. 4 hours every week won't really do much for me. People say I should get a job, but how am I supposed to do that? I'm friggin 14.
For now I'm just focusing on temp (mwahaha, you'll make me a mag staffer someday), my own creative writing writing (mostly found on my blog), and watching as many movies and reading as many books as possible. I don't really have many options for gaming unless I want to go retro. I don't have a Wii, I use my cousins but he's too bored to try and burn ISO's cause they take too long to download, my DS is broken, my GBA is broken, my PS2 is broken, the only surviving option I have left is to use my PS1.
In about 6 days, it's doomsday time, Report Cards are coming. I'm nervous about one specific subject, DAMN MUSIC. I don't even get the point of having a music class. We don't have a textbook, we get a minimal amount of notes, and all we do is sing. Our exam was composed of 60 multiple choice questions, I would say that nearly all of them have NOT been taught to us. I swear, I had no idea what the fuck those weird terms said. How are we supposed to know the parts of an instrument you haven't taught to us yet?
I'm pretty confident on my other subjects though, maybe except a bit nervous on Filipino (native language) class. I consider it my worst subject (well.. it's the only one where I get a 90-93 nearly all the time) but I get high grades. People wonder why since I suck at speaking my own language. I can speak it naturally in a conversation, actually I prefer to, but when you bring those complicated words out, I'm gonna suck.
Been updating my blog a lot so far. I keep posting "aphorisms", profound and meaningful expressions about life. Each batch has 10 of them, and it takes me quite a long time to think of them. If you'd like to read them, here they are in a spoiler:
