I haven't been to work yet to talk to payroll about getting my check cancelled (I'll be leaving in half an hour), so I'll update that situation when I get back.
In more important news - I just discovered a really cheap grocery store (even cheaper than the one I usually go to - like...30 oranges for $7 cheap), and it's like...right next door to where I work. Dont' know why I haven't gone there before....but assuming I talk to payroll today, I'll be picking up dinner! Tomatoes, feta, and spinach, added to the pita bread and jalapeños that I already have to make an unusually (for me) healthy pizza.
I think I'm going to stop eating junk food, at least as much as I am. I may not be able to afford getting near 100% of my daily value of vitamins and minerals, spending money on junk food sure didn't help (it was originally my plan to get junk food because it's so calorie-rich, and I really need more calories...). I guess despite being high in fat (which I guess doesn't really matter for me - but I do need carbs and protein), most of my energy will have to be derived from nuts.
On the other hand, citrus fruits tend to be high in carbs, so no problem. There's my brekky.
...at least I don't have to worry about cholesterol (I don't eat nearly enough dairy for that xD)!
