I did this using a shitty soldering station (one of the knock-off 900M handles) and without a microscope.
It looks badly soldered on, but it works, so I'm content with it.
First time trying to install a modchip on one of these things (hell, first time even owning one that works and isn't a paperweight), and I fucked it up due to inexperience, overconfidence and probably a lack of proper equipment.

Thankfully the file format was relatively simple, along with the text encoding.
