Zelda TOTK disable "friends/ companions"?

Hey there

Stupid question but as I progress in TOTK more and more of these annoying (but useful) characters join me. And they are constantly in my way. Of course they're useful in fights or other tasks but I want to only summon them when I really need them. They can be really annoying otherwise.

However I see no way to disable them. In the inventory menu I still have no symbols that allows me to disable and enable them.

Some of them are not yet "ghosts" so I guess with those it's not possible at all?

Inventory. Key items. Go to said companion icon. Disable.

If they are the actual companion (you haven't finished the dungeon) then you can't disable

Oh never mind, I found it. I thought it would be on top in key items but it's down with the other stuff.
