Gaming Yet another top screen problem. Please help.

I just replaced top screen with a new one. Top screen cable is inserted to the max, and still it can't stop flickering. But if i turn the brightness to the 2,3 or 4 level, the flickering stops. Can it be capacitors problem? Is there any capacitors for the top screen in the circuit?
I replaced it for the second time, and there're still problems. And it all started with me trying to clean button contacts.
I'm just tired of this. I really love the console, but i'm already considering to buy another used DSL. Maybe it's the way?

Bump just once.
Lil update. It seems that only backlight is affected, and it makes quiet sparking sound while blinking. Now 2nd and 3rd brightness levels os affected, too. First level don't work anymore. I have no opportunity to disassemble it now to look if there's something wrong with the cable, somehow. I remember how snuggly I pushed it.
