Great device, Doesn't feel one bit larger than my original FAT psp in hands, though it is :) really nice feel, solid and all that.

Had to send it back though, had a vertical blue line on screen plus 2 dead pixels on screen... Sent it out an hour after receiving it to get a replacement one... sucks but it happens...

    How are your Vitas doing?

Doing awesome! Played so much Uncharted and Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. I'll get Wipeout too soon enough!

I've been messing with the system most of the day, I have only played about 20 minutes of Uncharted and a bit of Escape Plan (

So the European PSV first batch also suffers from dead pixels and things like that? What a shame.... Always the same, early adaptors get screwed over.

Haha, yeah i skipped on 3DS to get vita even though i got more games i like on 3ds, vita just seems like a better deal, and thank god i didn't spend 210£ on the damn 3DS, now they go for 125£ sometimes even less lol.

Also, i am not blaming sony for this, sh*t happens, and screens are made by samsung. anyways gotta wait for that replacement unit :( hopefully they will make it snappy, Was really looking forward to playing with it more, just checked all the settings and menus briefly and mailed it back. Hopefully next one they send will be OK.

Shall we make a topic in the EOF?

    Early adapters?

I'm still considering if and when I'll get one myself.

I love the thing. It's alot lighter than I expected and the screen is simply amazing to say the least. I only picked up UMvC3, but plan on getting Uncharted soon. Was kinda dissapointed with the PSP games on PSN. There are a few I'd buy, but I think I'll hold off for now.

The people who buy new products on the first day or in the first week.
At the Japanese launch there were several articles who mentioned this, it's a shame they couldn't fix it for the European release.

Just reading various opinions the attach rate on the Vita seems immense. It'd be difficult to measure accurately but from the looks of it it's eclipsing the 3DS's 0.88, DS's 0.97 and PSP's whatever it was attach.

Jut finally got home so I could play around with mine, but ultimately I broke down and got the 3G launch bundle over wifi, and thus I know have a spare memory card but at least I get Stardust for free. A;though I really like that the Sony screen protectors were the hardest ones I have ever seen to get on a system.

I got my Vita (Wi-Fi only, with a 8GB card) as a christmas gift and now with Dynasty Warriors, Uncharted and Everybody's Golf. It's a great system.

    Some general comments:
    • It's lighter and smaller than what I've been expecting.
    • The screen is quite good, but not as good as I thought it would be.
    • Graphics really depend on software. Look at Uncharted, then look at F1 2011.
    • Battery life is generally okay. About the same (or sometimes just a little longer) as 3DS.
    • Awesome launch package - almost everything is there. Games, online, camera, others...
    • Sadly, the camera quality is... horrible. The front facing cam is also awkwardly positioned. (I don't expect 3.2mp snappers from a handheld though)
    • LiveArea/OS is gorgeous on the PS Vita, however I don't think it'll work well on a home console like PS3.
Strange thing is that I never bring out my PS Vita. I always play it at home. Heck my PS3 is now collecting dust. :P

Picked mine up the other day and was asked if I wanted to get the warranty but I decided to risk it and refuse. Luckily no dead pixels on my screen. The Vita is amazing and I love the large screens, I mean they could make a smaller version with an iPhone sized screen but I wouldn't care for that revision as the current size is perfect to me. Played Ultimate Marvel all night and just tried out the Rayman Origins and Asphalt demos. I'm very impressed with mine and will be putting some videos on it during the weekend.
