You won't be able to play any mods that have custom game code (cl_dlls and dlls in the mod folder) unless that code is ported properly and supplied as an additional NRO.
Though I don't remember whether Crack-Life has custom code or not.

Im looking at halflife echoes, it has a crossplatform patch with this comment:
"NOTE: This version based on modified Spirit of Half-Life 1.2 without some features which was introduced in Spirit of Half-Life 1.5 and not required anymore cg.dll and cggl.dll libraries."
short of having an nro file, this could work on the switch?

Well, that would most likely require the source code of the mod. It probably wouldn't work properly with the HL NRO.

The default icons used are very low resolution, so I have attached some higher resolutions icons. I didn't make these, they came from here, I just converted them to .png. They're not perfect as they backgrounds are white, but they still look better.

I will not post pre-compiled binaries, please edit your .nro files yourself using NRO Asset Editor.

mk. but did it work? I think that you should not merge the folders, but just use something like NXShell to rename the folders before playing. That's my best guess.

something doesn't add up, mate, even if goldsrc and source are both made by valve
