Homebrew X68000 emulator?

There are a few of these for Windows, but none on DS or 3DS that I know of. Would anyone here consider starting this project? For those who don't know the X68000 is the home of the excellent Cho Ren Sha shooter (there is also a Windows version), and it has some great arcade ports (like Gradius).

it is, if there's a good open source emulator to base it on, and someone has enough skill required to make the required changes to make it function correctly.

so I suppose it could be feasible to have a 3DS port. I've only tried the android version, but I couldn't do much because the virtual controls are kinda terrible. I was able to confirm that that version of Super Mario Bros works.

Well to be serious the X68000 is a computer system in Japan, a higher class than the MSX, which is another Japanese computer system.

It's quite a very popular system in Japan so that every serious programmer aspires to have one at it's release, if you don't have much money, buy the MSX instead. It's also the official development/programming kit at Capcom for a very long time, so the X68000 has perfect arcade ports of Capcom games at that time as well.

And since there's no parental limitations and guidelines for the system, there's also a lot of hentai games on it.

I accidentally knew about the X6800 because when I was young in the Philippines, I tend to find/buy pirated PC CD's containing a lot of PC games with a side of hentai games contained in a single CD. When I researched about it when the internet came about, I discovered nearly all of them are ported from the X68000 and translated into Chinese for the Chinese MS-DOS market.

A semi popular hentai game in the US is Knights of Xentar, in Japan, it's called Dragon Knight 3, and there are four Dragon Knight games released in Japan. I highly recommend Dragon Knight 4 because it's basically Fire Emblem with hentai (With an awesome "New Game Plus" that is canon to the story.)

Hentai literally means "pervert" so it's porn. But today it's mostly associated with pornographic anime. While pornography with actors is usually called JAV.

Yes, because there's no restrictions from the manufacturer themselves, and since it's also a computer, it's "doujin" scene in really good in it's time. Leading to a lot of games, including hentai ones.

I would be happy about any emulator development on the 3DS!!! This one included =)

But I think we have to wait a year or two before we have that many emulators on the 3DS...
