Hacking Wood R4 BUGS and Compatibility

Harvest Moon - Grand Bazaar (USA) freezes up (video and audio freeze) every time I run into my 2nd field. This is on Winter 2, first year, right after getting snowboard. Save here.

Etrian Odyssey III (USA) still freezes every time I try to set sail (black screen). Save here.

Also, the English translation of Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love Plus found here still doesn't work, and I'd really appreciate a fix for it.

I can't produce a save, as it white screens upon start-up.

Etrian Odyssey 3 won't boot after update from 1.08 to 1.14.2, even though it did boot before the update. Other games work fine. Says I don't have enough space on the disk. Deleted some files, but that didn't help.

Make sure you have at least 256Mbs. Next, delete all files except your games. Download WoodR4 1.14. Put it onto your MicroSD. Then download 1.14.2. Drag the file and place it in the root to REPLACE the old file. Try it and see if it runs.

For some reason a lotof files, maily .CC's and saves, (including the EO3 save) were damaged somehow. I'm trying to repai them with CHKDSK.exe. If that doesn't work, I'll try your solution

That seems to have worked, Though the EO3-save was lost in the process... Ah well, it's not like I was halfway through or something.

You turned on the AP patch for the cheat for pokemon black?

Try a pokemon black/white AP patched rom if that doesnt work.

Wood R4 1.15 has a white screen with vnds 1.4.9 (It worked with every other version)there was bug in libnds before 1.4.1. so some homebrew have problems in wood 1.15.
i already add workaround and in 1.16 all must be fine.
rebuilding vnds with fresh toolchain also helps.

there is no universal way to detect then 3d hardware is in safe state.
the softreset bug is at 1st place in my todo list.

Do you know of the soft reset bug where if you soft reset some games too many times without powering off the console the skin changes. Like i use the skin Black and when i soft reset too much it changes to the Zelda skin.
