@cpasjuste Dude I love you from all my heart! No homo!... well... maybe a little :rofl2:

I'm trying to downgrade for nearly a week now (N3DS XL, European MH4U Edition). Tried different Micro SD cards, different sysUpdaters, browserhax, menuhax, ninjhax... No matter which combination I chose, I got this damn "failed to get CIA file info" error every single time.

I have already given up but decided to give your sysUpdater a chance. I don't know what you did there, but it worked second try! First try it froze.

I am so happy right now! Thank you sooo much! I wish I had your sysUpdater a little earlier. So many hours wasted....:P

should i remove my menuhax after i've downgraded and before i start installing reinand?

Yes, if you are planning to coldboot your CFW. But if not, then you dont need to remove it. Just make sure you update the payload if you change your firmware on your emunand.

New 3DS 10.3 EUR.
Homemenu hax without ftbrony trick, success.

Many thanx! Now, lets setup 10.3 emunand and enjoy savedatafiler for 9.6+ savegames!

It keeps freezing for me and shows a little pink line on the left. I've tried dozens of times.
Keep trying. Took me only 5 tries though.

Great, simply great! After every other sysUpdater out there has constantly failed on me (regardless of my number of attempts), this one worked on my very first try. Is that amazing or what? N3DS succesfully downgraded to 9.2.0-20U

Time to get homebrew back and set up a custom firmware. Any recommendations? People seem to like RxTools, but apparently ReiNand now has support for 10.3 emunand. Decisions, decisions... :ha:

reporting a Succesfull downgrade with a N3DS from 10.3E to 9.2.0.20E.
Installed menuhax right after with cubic ninja and used downgrade check homebrew. and it says downgrade succesfull!

things i did:

* updated to 10.3 from 9.9
* did not format.
* used the .8 version of safesysupdater
* after all succesfull cia installs in the downgrade it didnt reboot by itself. I waited a few mins, and did a manual reboot.
* worked at the third try! no game card in console, + ftp trick.

thanks cpasjuste!

Similar story, tried a bunch of different sysupdater versions on my MM N3DSXL USA 10.3 and none of them took. Well one did but then I couldn't install ANY cfw as the downgrade didn't take entirely. Your worked second try!! So happy now. I haven't had a chance to re-try cfw since I had to go work but the NATIVE_FIRM installed roughly half way through, is that normal?
