I'll buy, cuz i think they'll find a way to run backup games on it.

Seems simulating an Game Pak isn't so difficult. By the way, Nintendo released the 1.4.1 for DSi and it still hacked.

If the firmware updates will be frequent and automatic, i'll not connect my 3DS in the Internet at all!

Anything can be hacked, it's just a matter of time.

But for the sake of hypothetical questions, yes.

No one bought the DS, or the Wii, or the PS3 knowing they were gonna be hacked (well, not at first anyway), and they all did really well.

When I got my Wii, I did not know when it would be hacked. There is no "can't", many have failed at that. But I will probably be getting a 3DS before it is known whether or not it will be hacked anytime soon, and I am willing to take the risk that it will not.

I probably won't. First off it is expensive. Spending 300 dollars for a portable handheld is one thing but the way they describe their new games is another. I probably assume new 3DS games will be expensive around the 30 to 50 dollar range and I cannot afford that. The only reason I would consider buying the 3DS is if it is hacked and usable. I am sorry and I respect the developers and the company but I am just short on money to spend it on games that are nothing except entertainment. That is also another reason why when I grow up and maybe form a family that I will be banning and restricting games from my kids. Why? The games are addicting and troublesome. Plus a waste of money. Education is more important and games interferes if you grow up with it too early and get absorbed into all of it. Anyways sorry but I just wanted to explain why I say no.

I will tbh i have no hopes of it being hacked i just like it for its picture capabilities and iv come to the conclusion that i rarely ever play games on the DS to 100% completion simply because there are so many games to pick from i dont focus on just one

Of course I would! This is a dream system for me! It will bring back memories when I play Ocarina of Time, and I always wanted to lay down in bed while playing Ocarina of Time. (And hopefully one day, Majora's Mask!)

I'll will still buy because it's capabilities so it's a good option anyways. After I start working I probably buy a couple games the ones I'm really interested in so it doesn't really matter but if they updated the M3i Zero and it could work with it at least with other games it would be cool too so it's better to have it and buy than to not have it or not used it at all.

Of course, I'm getting a bit fed up with the whole piracy thing at the moment. It's run rampant on the DS and although I admit to downloading countless titles, I still preferred buying games and I want to stop fighting developers and waiting for patches. Also have you seen the 3DS it's incredible and there is no way I'm missing out on 3D Oot just because I can't download (massive 2gb files which would really take a bite out of our downloads allowance) games for free which inevitably leads to Pirate Syndrome.

I said no purely because me and my family are struggling for money at the moment, and I would rather we have a meal than buy a new game, but I still like to play the games and recommend the best to my work colleagues.
I know at least 50 people that have purchased DQ9 because they have seen me play it, and how great I told them it was.

If I didn't pirate, Ninty would have lost out on up to 50 sales

And those 50 have no idea about you having pirated it, and that they could also? You may have helped 50 people buy a game, but you may have also helped 50 people get into pirating as well, meaning a lot more games will go unbought.
