Any guide to this ayrek?
I tried the Freatures USB Loader GX had, first I took the "Dump Nand to EmuNand" option and after that I used "Install WAD to EmuNand", which all went through without errors.
But in the end, I just ended up with a new item (with the correct name!) that does nothing, just sends vWii into blackness, the banner is just black too...
I tried Yet Another WAD Manager and the option "Install to USB 2.0 Media Storage" or something along those line, but only got ~"-Error 1001", don't remember the code exactly.
I don't know of a guide, per se, but I could probably tell you all the steps that I went through to do it.
1) You need either a backup NAND or what I hear is even better, a fresh NAND. The former you can extract from a console, and the latter you can have Modmii build for you, it a simple process complete with onscreen instructions.
2) If you have a nand backup, you need to extract in in showmiiwads. If you made a fresh one, you can just point showmiiwads to the appropriate directory (I would go ahead and put it on your hard drive, usb:/NAND, and point to it there, so that when you open showmiiwads in the future, with your drive connected, it will automatically load from there). Then, you can use showmiiwads to install the VC and Wiiware games to the virtual NAND.
3) You'll need CFG USB loader mod, I think the newest revision is v70r51 or v70r52. Inside the global settings, you can download the plugins, one of which is mighty.dol. It will be put where it needs to be and, hopefully after reloading CFG, you'll see your wiiware and VC games in the loader, along with any GC and Wii backups you may have. If your NAND came from a real Wii, you might see other channels here, too. Some will work, some won't. It's a relatively new feature, and subject to a large amount of trial and error.
I think that's everything... Haha I'm not very good at guides. If I've forgotten anything, or if you run into any problems, just ask me, or even stop by the CFG sticky thread, in the Wii backup loaders subforum.
