Wiiflow displays covers only, if you want to see your darkwii theme you need to use the nswitch channel not wiiflow.
and AFAIK 3-4 TB drives are not supported yet
thank you for your advice how big can the hard drive be to get my console like you have in your Masterpiece Pack link thanks

about HDD up to 2 TB max should be fine
about wii games and cfg you need to change IOS for some games to 250 (given that you have standard d2x cIOS bases 56 and 57 in slots 249 and 250) d2x v10 or v10alt is recommended
thank you for your reply i will get a hdd max size 2tb , but i know that d2x cIOS has not be installed, i use wiiflow and cfg to load wbfs or iso from hdd but i have never done anything before to do with wiiflow mod and emunand, would this work if i put wiiware and virtual console games on 1 drive and wbfs and iso on the other drive but going through the same console thanks

you can everything on single FAT32 partition of only 1 drive say 1-2 TB,
if you want to split you can have 2 partitions ex FAT32 first and NTFS second, then use FAT32 for nands and emulators and GC and use NTFS to store your Wii games
thankyou for your reply i have ordered a seagate expansion drive 2tb should be here tomorrow , then i will try again thanks for your help

Recently, I updated my softmod via the "Softmod Any Wii" tutorial on Wiihacks.com. I have nearly torn my hair out as a noob trying to get NAND emulation to work and finally thought I had found a good solution with Neek2o. Unfortunately, I can't get the mode to launch. I followed this guide, yet I am unable to get into Neek2o by any means: SM forwarder channel (hangs after showing "Reloading bootmii IOS); Wiiflow 4.2 (just freezes on a black screen when I try to launch from my real NAND exit to Neek2o mode, or launch a game with Neek2o); Postloader4 (black screen when I try to select "Neek Mode"). I followed the guide except that I selected Neek2o rev 96. Has anyone run into this or a similar problem? I'd really like to get Neek2o up and running. Thanks for bearing with me, I'm a noob :-)

I need more info: how did u make your nand (extracted vs modmii or my premade one) also are you using HDD or USB flash device and finally what format, size and cluster size?
a syscheck would be useful too

My nand was extracted w/ ModMii, and I'm using a 1TB FAT32 32kb clusters USB HDD. Here's my syscheck:

I downgraded from SM 4.3U to 4.1U during my softmod, which may or may not matter.

Thanks alot!

First you need to update your IOS with modmii for the sake of completion (51/52 and d2x)
Second use any HDD partition tool such as internal Windows tool or Aomi or Paragon to make sure the Fat32 is the First partition (sometimes tiny empty partitions are first) so if that's the case delete the first partition and make Fat32 at the start.
Third you can check my masterpack for a premade emunand those are tested and known to work (rename your nands and sneek folder to something else and copy mine)
Finally if all fails try another usb device some drives are not compatible

Thanks alot! Okay, to make sure I'm understanding correctly, what type of IOS updating should I do? Do you mean that I need to get rid of the stubs on IOS 51 and IOS 52 on the REAL nand and install d2x there? If that's the case, could I use Multi-Mod Manager and d2x installer? In the meantime, I'm gonna re-format my hdd to see if that helps. My SD card is 2GB, formatted to FAT32, but the largest sector size I can assign is 16k. Should that be ok?

I asked somewhere else, but anyway...
Do you guys know if theres a global option for all wiiware/VC games to automatically use neek2o?
Its really annoying to select the option individually.

you need non stub ios 51 and 52 and 245-251 need to be updated to d2x v10 instead of v8
As for the SD card sneek2o is still not up to date. So you need a usb hdd

If you use wiiflow I don't think so, you can make an official request in the main thread or using google code issues pages
You can try Postloader too, not sure if the neek2o is a global option there though

Ok, should I just remove the stubbed IOS 51 and 52 and leave them empty, or is there something I should install there? Does Neek2o require d2x v10 in order to function as well? Thanks so much!

don't remove any ios
Modmii can use your syscheck to update the wii, it will install the stubs and update d2x
Though I believe neek2o will work even if you don't update. but just for the sake of completion

Okay, gotcha! What do I need to tell Modmii to do? If it's a well-known process, which guide works best?

Just for understanding, we're talking about using Modmii on the Emunand and not the real nand, right?

Modmii has several options when it comes to updating/softmoding
best thing to do is run modmii and make it prepare an SD for you will all the tools and IOSes based on your syscheck. this process will update the real wii IOSes
As for the emunand Modmii can build one from scratch
Anyways Modmii is so easy and straight forward
you can find the Modmii official thread in Wii hacking section in case you need more info.

I'm actually having to put Neek2o on hold indefinitely. I got my Wiiware & VC to run in USB Loader GX and installed the incompatible games to my real nand. At this point, I don't want to risk damaging my Wii after it now does everything I need it to do. Thanks for all of your help and advice!
