One last set of questions, what are the main differences between this version of WiiFlow and the one found here https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/backup-launchers/usb/wiiflow ?

Also, what are the main differences between Configrable USB loader, WiiFlow and USB loader GX?

I find text guides much more reliable.

They all boot Wii games (and GC games when paired with another loader) but WiiFlow and CFG Loader aren't maintained very much anymore. AbdallahTerro and fledge68 here are still supporting forks of WiiFlow, though. USB Loader GX just got updated this week.

If you're following that guide when you get to the cIOS installation don't install the beta53 version of d2x. Just use v8 or v10 beta52. Beta 53 has game compatibility issues.

uh-oh. I dun goofed then. I installed the beta 53 as the first cIOS on slot 249 and the one you're saying as cIOS 250 using ios57 as a base

also in terms of stability, features, etc do you like abdallahterro's fork over usbloadergx?

Use that as your starting point, as long as you have homebrew installed, extract that to your SD card, go back to homebrew and start Wiiflow.

Alright, Do i need to have these folders inside both the SD card and the HDD? I tried putting them in the HDD and it wouldn't be recognized by the HBC.
I'm using my SD for the SNES and GBA emulators atm.
Port 0 would be the one on the right if you look at the wii from behind, right?

I just have them on both. Also, are you pressing 1 when on HBC to select your device? And yes, port 0 is the one on the right when looking at the Wii from behind. The one closest to the edge.

Pressing 1 will give you a menu that allows you to change the order the apps are in and select the device you get apps from. Also pressing 2 will change the layout so instead of the app title, a short description, and it's icon with 4 apps per page, it will switch to 19 (I think) apps per page but only showing the icon.

You can only get apps from one device at the time; i assume? So pressing one and selecting the other device should do the trick?

Guys, the Neo(arcade) is not working in my vWii...I already test kof 97,98.I know that is not a bad rom,because i play normally in retroarch wii u(new)...but i want play with covers(beautiful)...so is working in you cores?or I got a bad plugin?

I cant seemto get CPS1 Roms to work. I Left them zipped up just like they are supposed to be according to the plugin script but im not sure if there is something else i might need to do like install a Bios for it. Im wondering if there is anything else i can try or is the pluggin in the process of being worked on?

Does your argument in the .ini file for the plug-in reflect the location you have your roms? Other than that un-zip one and see if that makes a difference.

no, you need a bios file iirc for neogeo
some roms are made for mame others for fba so make sure your roms are ok (try retroarch fba from hbc to test them if you wish too)

hello guys, so i got the wiiflow to work perfectly on my wii u, so i decided to throw my old wii in my wifes minivan for the kids to play when on the move, i had a really, really old version of wii flow, so i scrapted it and put the same one with the same setup as my wii u, same hard drive setup, but i cant get it to work. first, the art work loads really , really slow, and when i launch a game it crashes with dsi error. my old wii is running 4.3u,

any ideas?

Be sure to use the "WiiFlow Channel Installer" app that came with the masterpiece pack to install the correct forwarder and it will also install a hidden channel that wiil allow Emulators to revert back to WiiFlow instead of going back to the main menu.

Make sure all wads are up to date and install cIOS249[56]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad and cIOS250[57]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad

other than that your guess is as good as mine.

did you make sure to use the "wiiflow channel installer"?
Believe it or not the channel can sometimes make a world of difference.

i have wiis of different types white black red and blue wiis and it works on all of them.

make sure when you use the channel installer to uninstall the forwarder you already have and then install the new one.
