GBA won't come to the 3DS as they promised it wouldn't when they announced the ambassador thing, instead it's coming to the Wii U. http://www.officialnintendomagazine...ce-games-confirmed-for-wii-u-virtual-console/3DS.
I'm pretty sure that's what Nintendo is going for. Handheld VC on 3DS, home console VC on WiiU.

They really need to release all of the Wii's virtual console library straight away on the the Wii U. Then they can spend their time drip feeding us GBA and GameCube releases, and the empty library of Wii U games won't feel so empty anymore with a full VC backlog.
But this is Nintendo we're talking about, of course they have to drip feed content that has already been released before...
this list for for the next year so far......i only see about 3 to 5 real good games in there so far
Donkey Kong Jr.
Excitebike Nintendo
Ice Climber Nintendo
Super Mario World Nintendo
Super Metroid Nintendo
Yoshi
Donkey Kong
EarthBound
Kirby Super Star
Kirby's Dream Course
Kirby's Dream Land 3
Mario Bros.
Mega Man
Super Mario Bros. 2
Wrecking Crew
Yoshi's Cookie
they really could have picked a better selection to work with, otherwise....ughhh
Why would they release Super Metroid before May...wait a second.I am pretty disappointed with the Virtual Console. I had hopes that they would release Super Metroid in the first batch. But nope, we got all of the other games they had out for $.30 already, plus a few new ones.
The only one that's on promo right now is Kirby. What I want to know is why they are selling those promotional games while selling the same games on the VC.
Because not everyone even is aware there's a 30 cent promo. Some will buy right when a game comes out, regardless of price. What I want to know is why they are selling those promotional games while selling the same games on the VC.

Makes sense. I stand corrected. Now, the other thing I'm wondering is why are NES games filtered on HDTVs, but not Snes games. I tested this thoroughly and confirmed that this is the case. NES = filtered. Snes - not filtered. WTF?
I'm pretty sure they never said it would be exclusive.I don't think it was anything like that, I mean, Nintendo did say that it would be exclusive to ambassadors only. If you put them up for sale for other people, all of a sudden, they're not so exclusive.
HATE FILTERING.
(I have nothing constructive to add.)
Enjoying the VC games on the GAMEPAD. I have an iPad/emu/classic controller setup, but playing handheld on a Nintendo machine just feels so much better.
