Hero-Link, this game doesnt have japanese voices. there's nothing wrong with the funimation voices. now the 4kids voices are the ones that arent nice.

it's nice it's out in english. america wont be getting it which makes me a sad panda. luckily i can get this.

I just played it a bit, there are only japanese voices, cut-scenes are subbed (It's not perfect subs like you would be used to if you watch one piece fansubs), but still, it's way better than Unlimited Adventure and the crappy english dub

What do you mean no japanese voices ? I just played it right now and there are japanese voices, you must be thinking that it is the PAL release of Unlimited Adventure, but unlimited cruise is a different game

Same reason a non-English speaker may want to watch the Dark Knight in English with subs in their own language - so they can hear Heath Ledger's original performance and not some out-of-work actor cheesing up his lines in French, Spanish or Japanese.

Is this worth playing if you don't watch the cartoon?

The game does not ties in anywhere in the manga or anime, but as the complete crew is actually present in the game, it is supposed that people playing have at least read/watched up to the Thriller Bark saga.

I would say that anyone that never watched one piece could play this game, but if they plan on watching it afterward, the game already spoils the crewmates that joins Luffy.

The game will also spoil a lot of enemies, and UA will spoil cutscenes.
It's a shame they didn't dub it, I looked forward to hearing the new characters english voices. I already played the NTSC-J release, but I'll play it again. ;D
