Wii #1165 - Tenchu Shadow Assassin (USA)

It works on NTSC Wii 3.3 with Wiikey 1.9 G.
Having said I only played 2 minutes for 3 reasons:
- Can't stand the Tutorial Narrator's Voice (annoying as hell) for longer than that
- It does not support 480p (As IGN already mentioned), so if you have an HDTV be prepared to see large black bars on each side of the image. Also, in my case since the component connection I use only supports 480p (I also have a PS3 and cable box, that use my other 2 HD inputs), I get ugly wiggly lines all over the screen, making it very hard to see much of anything. And I am not going to switch connections around for this game ... at least not today
- I could only give it 2 minutes .. haha

Yes it is multilanguage, but NTSC is only ENG-FRA-SPA

I don't listen to them at all. Look at Moon DS, great reviews but I fount it boring as fuck. Just stating for those interested.

Actually, the reviews were very much across the board. It ended up with a Metacritic average of 67 or close. Personally, I find it a little boring too, but I think in small sections it's decent enough fun.

dont have that problem. looks like all the other wii games on my hdtv... they say it's in widescreen and that's what it is on my tv.

Tested on 3.2E wiikey 1.9s brickblocker & regionfree and it works via disc channel.
About game:
+graphics
+music and sounds
+gameplay and control (aiming by analog stick isnt bad at all!-its stealth game not FPS)
-terrible voice of tutorial guy
-same models of enemies on each level
-face-to-face battle(to hard for me)
Its a solid Wii title deserve 8/10 or even more.

3.2e wii with wiikey 1.9s: i brickblocked and regionfriied but game did not even come up on the disc channel, tried freeloader, didnt work. tried geckos and got a green screen

tried setting to 480i, and tried force pal60 in geckos, no help.

can anyone verify that they got this to work on a pal wii or tell me what i am doing wrong. if not ill just wait for pal. thanks

update: burnt the brickblocked game without regionfrii, and works now. possibly regionfrii or bad burn was causing the game not to work

I'm NTSC-U I don't have Italian but I'll force the language to italian on Gamma Launcher and I'll edit here to tell what happened, ok..??

OK the result: setting to italian language the game runs in english works great over CIOScorp

, and actually I do like the music, don't know what others were expecting

I've played it. Mini-review:

Graphics:

Good, but not great. Just OK. Nothing really impressive.

Sound:

Really good voice acting, avarage sound effects and poor music.

Gameplay:

Good. The controls just works, what is enough. There are some nice things to do in this game.

But the gameplay is repetitive and the sword fight is awful.

So, it's a nice game, but could be better.

Pal Wii on 3.2e + starfall + safe 3.3 update + 0.3gamma = works fine.
