Is it a scam or something?
is $ 46 99 cheap?
He's probably eyeing the $1 listings from zero feedback sellers.
Remember if it sounds too good to be true it is
I wonder what the OP's definition of cheap is. For all we know hes a multi-billionaire that lights Cuban cigars with $100 bills.
Probably referring to these which as of posting is ludicrously cheap ($0.73+$3.99 postage):
I wouldn't expect these prices for a couple of years at least, probably a scam.
Damn, even if thats for the game cart alone thats a steal of a deal.
All of these new sellers popping up, selling a brand new game at up to 99% off? If only...
Total scam. Remember the old adage "If it seems to good to be true, then it's a lie"... or something like that.
how's the game? any good?
You get total protection from amazon. So what would you have to lose if it was fake?
You either get your money back, or you lost $5...
Yeah, with Amazon, it really couldn't hurt to try. At worst you're out less than $5 for a few weeks, but you'd still get it back. I still have $2 left from an old Amazon gift card, I'm considering just coughing up the extra 2 to 3 dollars and siing what happens. If it were real, I'd have to imagine they were stolen or perhaps counterfeits, because yeah, that deal is far too unreasonable.
And heck there are some really legitimate looking sellers with a slightly higher price but still very cheap, like the top listing on this page https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-lis...5?ie=UTF8&qid=1490013967&sr=1-1&startIndex=10 with 100% feeback after 9 reviews, and selling the game for $19.00
you can get your money back from amazon. plus they would be charging an extra $10.00 dollars to the seller. The seller also don't have access to the credit card and won't have access to the money until after 10 days after clearing.
same thing was with Botw some days ago, i saw on amazon listed as "new" for like 20 - 24$ so yeah sounds too good to be true.
Yes you can. If you purchase something and it's a scam, Amazon will step in and get your money back for you.
The only personal identifiable information they might get from you is your name, address, products you purchase, and the transaction amount.
May be 2 types of scam:
1 - Seller will try to make costumer give data outside of amazon fenced garden (no protection out there)
2 - False sellers trying to scam other stores who cover offers from amazon (lots of brazilians got cheap PS4 at launch with this method). I'm actually believing this to be the case here.
So it is possible a scam meant to other stores to force the real stores to make a lower offer. but looking through some of the sellers inventory makes me think this might not be a scam. I mean they are asking about 150 for the NES Classic or OoT link amiibo for 49 dollars. so I don't know.
If by cheap you mean $50 is not cheap just cause is $10 cheaper than Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild.
In fact i wish it was cheap. $50 REALLY?! After a decade of no games being released, some bold move costing anywhere near over the price of indie games status. O_O
I saw a Nintendo Switch console listing yesterday on eBay for £18. And it was from a zero feedback seller. Definitely not a scam.
It's gotten a bit better after the recent update but still not worth the retail price, get it when it's half that at least.
