My PS4pro is running 6.72 on the original 1TB HD.
What's the easiest way to swap this HD with an SSD?
I have a Kingston 500GB SSD, but would it be more easy to buy an equivalent sized SSD to the original HD?
Like SAMSUNG 870 EVO 1TB? If it's easier to replace it by an 1TB SSD instead of the 500GBSSD I will use the 500GB SSD in my laptop.

btw, any new firmwire released that can run without the usb like 6.72?

Easiest way is to make a backup using the PS4's built in feature. swap the drive, restore.
if you dont wanna get a 1tb drive, saving only the save files and configs to an external drive is pretty much the only way you have
