I have a n3ds with 10.2 on it and i have an gateway card, that i cant use. Why cant i take a NAND backup from someone else to downgrade my console? I mean, if its the same system and the same NAND chip it should be alright, or am i wrong?

No. Each console use a different encryption key, each being "burned" in its chip, and as a result only your console can read its NAND.

There must be a way to find the encryption keys, for example searching for the differences and simmilarities between 2 10.2 NAND backups from 2 different systems(but those must be the same, for example 2 n3ds's with samsung NAND chip)

You don't have to, but really, one part of going from noob to pro is accepting that if some people found a kernel exploit and dozens of entrypoints in a highly secure system, then they probably tried something anyone can think of. And it probably turned out to be a "bad" idea, since we have NO way to use a NAND backup on another 3DS than its creator.

AES key is encrypted on the NAND and are loaded to the ARM CPU. The key then get decrypted and moved an isolated and seperate section of memory of the CPU unaccessible to the user, it stays there until power is turned off and that point it is erased.

The 3ds uses RSA keys in this case. If you want to understand how the boot order works etc, you can go here:

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
