Just noticed this on a fandom I follow

The character in question, Depresso, is a heavily depressed clown

He is a very stereotypical person suffering of depresion. The fact that he is a clown is a way to show us that even those who smile in public can be very depressive in private.
By the way, pages on this fandom usually get this "controversial warning" when something shocked the fandom (for example, a character who was very loved and died). So I don't get why it got this warning when it always was their kind of humor.

I've been depressed. Multiple times (very recently too btw). You have to laugh about it and you know it very well. If we start to decide what we can laugh about and what we cant laugh about, then we won't be able to laugh about anything.
