*I'm always switching the console "full OFF" when playing game because my hand just push that button and keep pressed at the same time I'm pressing R trigger button. (I'm doing a gesture of closing hand to press the button when I'm holding the console tightly in my hand).
I would have loved a "lock that moving switch" position to prevent it to move but still be able to play the game, and not the actual lock position to prevent pressing the buttons accidentally when transporting the console in a bag (who transport it in a bag like that without protection anyway?).
I'm sure the 'hold' plugin prevents this.
Or it prevents accidental off when switching hold off.

I think I already checked that plugin and it didn't do what I wanted.
I may check it again, maybe it's updated.

edit:
- Switches off the LCD screen and backlight. (not good when playing a game)
- Prevents the PSP from going into suspend mode if you accidently push the power switch too far when turning off Hold mode. (only prevent putting in sleep mode the console if you accidentally pushing "shortly" the switch too far while you where previously in hold mode)
- While in hold mode, allows the use of Left, Right, LTrigger, RTrigger, Volume and Start buttons, if you hold the Select button first. Useful to skip songs, pause etc. (Doesn't allow all buttons press)

It's not designed to still play a game

I don't know enough PSP coding to make a plugin myself.

Love

Graphics (compared to NDS)
Analog (it could be better, but it works for me)
Games
CFW/OFW(all it's features)
Accesories(Skins, Hand grips, screen/console protectors, speakers, audio dividers, GPS and more)
Hackability ( so, so easy)
PSN(I don't use it, but it's cool when comparing to NDS)
Plugins
Homebrew
Emulation capabilities

Hate

Shell (Too big hands, can't fit it well in my hands)
Shell material (high visibility of fingerprints, grease, dirts etc.)
Game repertory ( lack of originality/innovation - small selection imo compared to NDS)
Memory Stick Pro Duo ( expensive tech)
Filesize of games ( compared to NDS, you can pirate ~30games on 4GB card)
Battery (could play 6-8h in row in one night with DS, my brand new PSP3004 has to be recharged every 4hours or so)
Fan translations (lack of them - once again compared to NDS)
Buttons x,o,square and triangle ( the layout is odd, they're placed more above the shell than in normal PS controllers, making it hard to play fighting games)
Shell size ( Yes, it's light and it's small. In the year 2120 we'll have game consoles at the microscopic level? Cmon, enough is enough!)

Will have to check and modify some of my points in the hate section once I get my Hand grip delivered.

PS. I compared alot to NDS because I've had it since the launch and I've played almost all the serious games there are to it.

I used to own a PSP, and this is what I like/dislike (not hate, I love all of my consoles):

Like:
Monster Huntar!!!
Analog input
Large widescreen
Vivid colors as opposed to DS

Dislike:
Battery life not as long as DS
Screen vulnerable to scratches
No touch input on screen

Sadly it spoiled last year or so, I really enjoyed MH on it.
