Nintendo NX already sounds badass. If they want third party support, they might as well keep that name. "Did you hear that new game is getting an NX version?!"

You have no idea how much that rings already. Though NX could already be a considered acronym. NintendoXeo? (Xeo pronounced ˈzɪ.oʊ)

I don't think the Color TV series counts as a home console any more than the Game and Watch series counts as a handheld console. Heck, it didn't even make it out of Japan.
