Hacking What should I get and where should I get it?

I got my R4 stolen a while ago and I was thinking about getting another one. But, I've been reading that it's not a good idea since it's not in production anymore. I want to get something not too expensive, I dont want to spend over $30. I was thinking about getting an Acecard. But, I saw the SuperCard Lite and thought it was really cool since it fits in the gba slot and plays gba games as well as ds games and emulators. But, I dont know much else about it.. Any suggestions?

R4 is an absolute no-no. Any slot-2 (GBA slot) carts for DS games are also a bad idea, as they're not supported anymore. Currently the best carts are the Acekard 2i, the CycloDS Evolution, and IMO, the iEDGE.

I would say go for an AceKard 2i with AKAIO. It is what i use. Try 0shippingzone there are a good place to look.

IMO isn't a flashcart, it stands for "In My Opinion".

Even if you don't have a DSi, usually the DSi carts are better than their DS counterparts. For example, the Acekard 2 has a nasty saving bug not found in the 2i. You can get the 2i for $25 from RealHotStuff

Not to be a naysayer, but I thought dealextreme removed all flashcards from their website? I mean, that link works, but actually trying to get the information about the item brings up a no go. My biggest question is, are you a witch?

Several users have bought and received Acekard 2is using this method. DX still sells them however they have to hide them like this because Paypal requested that they be removed.

I actually just got my Acekard 2i in the mail yesterday from DealExtreme. Took about a month to get here, but no biggy. Works great, too!

All of mine sat on Waiting For Supplier for a few days before shipping. Because they don't have them on their site, they must be selling a fraction of what they were before and so probably hold less stock. Give it a few more days before looking for another supplier, they are easy to cancel and get a refund from but that also normally takes 3 days to happen.
