Hmm, let's see.
First game that came to my mind was Secret of Mana although I don't think it will ever have that special "something" which the original has.
I hope Nintendo is going to "remake" Majoras Mask for the 3DS as they have done with Ocarina of Time.
Vigilante (N64) might be fun although there are similar games to it nowadays.

And of course my all-time-favourite: FF X, although I doesn't even need a remake quiet yet.

I'd like to see Dead Or Alive Dimensions remade so in tag challenge mode I'm not paired with an AI with the preservation instincts of a chip sandwich.

But seriously. The following all need to be reborn in one form or another.

- Super Metroid. So many people never experienced this game properly. I for one have only played it on an emulator as the PAL cartridge is both rare and prohibitively expensive. I'd love to see it on the 3DS, even if its just from the E-Shop.

- F-Zero. That's right, I said it. Where the hell did this series go? High speed racing on the 3DS with online multiplayer and download support for new machines and tracks would be reason enough to own a 3DS.

- Final Fantasy 7, if only to shut people up.

A few things I would love:

-Final Fantasy V and VI remade the same way FFIVDS was
-Dragon Quest III made in a style similar to the DS versions of IV, V, and VI
-Castlevania II remade to be less infuriating and more fun, and with modern graphics

The last one is especially unlikely, because I don't think any Castlevania game has been truly remade, the closest they've come is porting.

Super Mario all-stars, yes a remake of a remake lol. I want it to get the co-op like super mario bros deluxe from the gbc, and possibly include the super mario land series or make that a different game remade. Super mario land series and the wario land series haven't aged well and I would want to see them in a uniform style. Also metroid II, where's my color?

That said, the first two breath of fire games seem dated. They weren't spectacular RPGs to begin with but they were nice, so if a company fucks some things up it won't matter as much.
