To be honest, I don't really watch Let's Plays, so I wouldn't have any point of reference in knowing if he was a good LP-er or not.

Mic is a tad quiet, texture pack is bloody horrifying, and he should talk about... things.
It's not really exciting to hear about finding coal over and over (and related).

Either that, or a friend of his. He posted a video from the same guy in another topic (The one he made about Minecraft), so I wouldn't doubt it.
